We are in the process of finding our position in terms of sustainability and circular economy. We believe that a little is better than nothing.
That’s why mignis works from a circular economic principle. It’s called long-term circulation.
mignis wants to renew the mindset of a linear value chain that starts with the extraction of resources and ends up as waste.
The market for great design and high quality is booming and we want to add an extra dimension by offering sustainable high-end products. We want to help break the habit of the throw-away society.
At mignis, sustainability already starts by seeking good solutions during the initial design phase – by minimizing the use of material into the design and by ensuring the product can be separated and recycled.
We assess the product is sustainably manufactured. We focus on production processes and resource consumption in the production of our table lighters.
Our products can be returned to us after use. We ensure circular recycling, either by separating the product for sustainable disposal or by repairing, reselling or lending the products. We call this approach long-term circulation.
There are many different ways of sustainable and green initiatives. At mignis we have a crystal clear strategy for sustainability. We want to offer meaningful products with added value without harming the environment.
Long-term circulation is our green initiative in being a part of the circular economy, for the benefit of the next generations.
