Which type of lighter gas is recommended

Use only quality butane gas – we recommend 100% pure butane gas, as this will not clog the nozzle in the table lighter. In addition, it is recommended that the table lighter is completely out of gas before refilling, as a mixture of different gas grades can cause the table lighter to burn uneven or not at all.

Refill of gas

Gas filling must be done outside or in a well-ventilated room and do not smoke at the same time.

It is best to refill the table lighter when it is completely empty. Press the filling valve with the tip of a pointed object until there is no more pressure in the table lighter. Then it is ready to be refilled.

Turn the adjusting knob as far down as possible (-). Hold the gas refill and table lighter straight above each other with the valve of the gas refill pointing vertically down at the table lighter. The table lighter’s filling valve is facing upwards. Then connect the gas refill valve to the corresponding opening in your mignis table light.

Press the gas refill with an even constant pressure and remove it after two seconds of filling – refill again for two seconds. Repeat this procedure if necessary. Wait approx. 1-2. minutes before using the table lighter again to let the excess gas evaporate. Now the table lighter is ready for use and the flame can be readjusted to the preferred level.

To avoid air to enter the sealed gas tank, please make sure the gas refill and the table lighter are held vertically during the filling process. This will prevent a potential vacuum of air that will affect the use of the table lighter.

Lighter gas is flammable and ice cold when it gets out into the air during filling – please be careful to keep away from your skin.
